Money Trumpet is an online loan broker and introducer specialising in the highly competitive unsecured and poor credit loan market.
Money Trumpet are a newcomer to the loan space, they approached us in September 2021 as their current SEO agency were struggling and although the site was ranking for some keywords these were dropping and Money Trumpet was fast losing ground in the search results. Money Trumpet wanted our help to build up more ranking keywords and climb higher in the search results for their main services such unemployment and bad credit loans.
This particual niche is extremely competitive and falls under Google’s YMYL (your money or your life) niche so extra care has to be taken looking at which changes are to be made.
We started off with a full indepth SEO audit covering site strucure, onpage and off page SEO. Once this was complete we carried out full site-wide audits on their top 10 competitors. After carefully going through all the data we uncovered a number of onpage issue with the website. The internal linking structure was one of these along with under optimised pages for the target keywords.
Once these issues were rectified we carried further key word research and proceeded to optimise the websites content for the right keywords and the correct searcher intent.
To rank within this cometitive niche reqiures regular quality backlinks, however, gaining quality backlinks in this niche is difficult so to combot this we began a content creation campaign to produce an weekly informational peices of content internally linked to the target pages. This provided opportunities for link building to the content thus helping the target pages rank.
The ongoing campaign consists of regular onpage, off page and competitor audits along with content creation. Link building is ongoing consisting of various different link types along with press relases and brand awareness campaigns.
Stratton Digital took over the SEO of Money Trumpet in September 2021 so this is a fairly new campaign given the competitive nature of the niche. To date we have increased the ranking keywords from 94 to 1.4K which is an increase of 1389.36%
When we took on Money Trumpet as a client the monthly traffic was just 59 visitors a month just 10 months into the campaign we currently stand at around 1000 visitors per month, which is an increase of 1594.92%
